The thesis examines the dynamic management of clients’ investment portfolios during periods of high market volatility, with a specific focus on the experience gained during the curricular internship at Banca Mediolanum. The main objective is to analyze the operational strategies and advisory practices adopted to address the diverse needs of clients in unstable market conditions. The research is based on the direct observation of financial advisory activities and on the collection of practical cases related to asset allocation decisions, portfolio rebalancing, and the use of risk hedging instruments. The findings highlight how a personalized approach and operational flexibility are crucial factors in preserving the value of investments and supporting clients’ decision-making processes during highly volatile phases.
La tesi esamina la gestione dinamica dei portafogli di investimento dei clienti durante le fasi di elevata volatilità dei mercati finanziari, con particolare riferimento all’esperienza maturata presso Banca Mediolanum durante lo stage curriculare. L’obiettivo principale è analizzare le strategie operative e le prassi consulenziali adottate per rispondere alle diverse esigenze dei clienti in contesti di instabilità. La ricerca si basa sull’osservazione diretta dell’attività di consulenza finanziaria e sulla raccolta di casi pratici relativi alle scelte di asset allocation, al ribilanciamento dei portafogli e all’impiego di strumenti di copertura del rischio. I risultati evidenziano come l’approccio personalizzato e la flessibilità operativa siano fattori determinanti per preservare il valore degli investimenti e supportare i clienti nelle decisioni durante i periodi di alta volatilità.
