This thesis analyzes the impact of U.S. tariffs introduced in 2025 on the strategies of exporting firms, through a case study of Calligaris, a leading Italian furniture manufacturer. The paper reconstructs the company’s strategic adjustment process, with particular focus on pricing decisions and supply chain reorganization. The Calligaris case highlights how exporting firms can respond flexibly to sudden changes in trade policy while maintaining profitability and competitiveness.
La tesi analizza l’impatto dei dazi statunitensi introdotti nel 2025 sulla strategia delle imprese esportatrici attraverso uno studio delle scelte adottate da Calligaris, azienda italiana leader nel settore dell’arredamento. L’elaborato ricostruisce il processo di adattamento strategico dell’impresa, con particolare attenzione alle decisioni di prezzo e alla riorganizzazione della supply chain. Il caso Calligaris evidenzia come le imprese esportatrici possano reagire in modo flessibile a cambiamenti improvvisi della politica commerciale mantenendo redditività e competitività.
