This thesis analyzes the management of students with type 1 diabetes in schools, with a particular focus on the perspectives of parents and teachers. The research is based on the analysis of questionnaires submitted to families with children affected by this condition and to teachers of different school levels, such as primary and preschool. An interview was also conducted with psychologists who work closely with diabetic children and collaborate with schools by offering training courses and support to teachers. This study demonstrates, with qualitative and quantitative data, the importance of increasing awareness of diabetes in schools in order to promote the well-being of students with this condition.
