This thesis aims to explore the role of music education in children’s overall development and well-being. Through a review of scientific and pedagogical literature, it examines the benefits of music in cognitive, emotional, and relational domains. It also considers educational approaches that integrate music, movement, and relaxation, with references to neuroscience and contemporary music pedagogy. The purpose of the thesis is to highlight the educational potential of music as a universal language capable of fostering harmonious learning and supporting the child’s holistic well-being.
La presente tesi si propone di esplorare il ruolo dell’educazione musicale nello sviluppo globale e nel benessere dei bambini. Attraverso una revisione della letteratura scientifica e pedagogica, vengono analizzati i benefici della musica in ambito cognitivo, emotivo e relazionale. Vengono inoltre presi in esame approcci educativi che integrano musica, movimento e rilassamento, con riferimenti alle neuroscienze e alla pedagogia musicale contemporanea. L’obiettivo della tesi è mettere in luce il potenziale educativo della musica come linguaggio universale capace di favorire un apprendimento armonico e il benessere del bambino nella sua interezza.
