This final graduation report focuses on the role of grandparents and the influence they have on the growth and education of children, with particular attention to the position they occupy within contemporary family dynamics. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter explores the historical and social evolution of the family, analyzing the changes in family structures and the legal protections that accompany their development. The second chapter addresses intergenerational relationships, introducing the role of grandparents within them. Finally, the third chapter focuses specifically on the figure of grandparents, examining their educational, emotional, and supportive value in the lives of their grandchildren. The report aims to highlight the importance of the grandparent-grandchild bond as a key resource for the child’s harmonious development.

La relazione finale di laurea si concentra sulla figura dei nonni e sull’influenza che essi esercitano nella crescita e nell’educazione dei bambini, con particolare attenzione al ruolo che ricoprono all’interno delle dinamiche familiari contemporanee. Il lavoro si articola in tre capitoli. Il primo approfondisce l’evoluzione storica e sociale della famiglia, analizzando i cambiamenti nelle strutture familiari e la tutela giuridica che ne accompagna lo sviluppo. Il secondo capitolo è dedicato alle relazioni intergenerazionali, introducendo il ruolo dei nonni all’interno di esse. Infine, il terzo capitolo si focalizza sulla figura dei nonni esplorando il valore educativo, affettivo e di supporto nella vita dei nipoti. L’elaborato intende sottolineare l'importanza del legame nonni-nipoti come risorsa fondamentale per la crescita armoniosa del bambino.
