This thesis investigates the influence of music on the overall development of children in early childhood (0–3 years), a crucial stage in which early stimuli strongly affect neuromotor, cognitive, linguistic, motor, and socio-emotional growth. The aim of the work is to demonstrate how exposure to high-quality musical experiences represents an educational and preventive resource that fosters well-being and integrated development. Through a critical review of scientific and pedagogical literature, the contributions of authors such as Gordon, Delalande, and Jaques-Dalcroze are examined, alongside the applications of music therapy and the role of educators in proposing meaningful musical practices. The study considers experiences such as singing, body percussion, listening, sound exploration, and the use of picture books. The results confirm that music supports cognitive and linguistic development, strengthens social and emotional skills, and promotes inclusion and relationships, highlighting the need for a stronger integration of music within early childhood educational contexts.
