The management of emotions in the first years of life is fundamental for the emotional and relational development of the child. This thesis focuses on educational strategies aimed at promoting the recognition and regulation of anger in children aged 0 to 3, using the illustrated book What anger! By Mireille d'Allancé. Through adult-mediated reading and experiential activities in educational contexts, we explore how even the little ones can begin to recognize and name their emotions. The register, thanks to the communicative force of the images, proves to be an effective tool to stimulate empathy and facilitate emotional expression. The thesis includes a theoretical analysis of emotional development in early childhood and reflects on the importance of emotion education in kindergartens. The results show how visual narration, supported by a conscious educational intervention, can promote self-regulation and emotional well-being from the first years of life.
