World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is a structured methodology aimed to eliminating waste, enhancing efficiency, and achieving operational excellence in production through continuous improvement. Birra Peroni has embraced this approach, adapting it to its specific needs and developing its own framework known as the Asahi Way. During my internship at this company, I had the unique opportunity to work with a new bottling line installed only few month earlier, a project not only aimed to introduce new advanced machinery but also a new way of working, empowering the operators and boosting the use of the tools for continuous improvement. In this thesis, first of all I will illustrate which is the theory of WCM how this methodology is used in Birra Peroni trough Asahi Way, detailing which are the core concepts and tools. After this I will focus more on the new bottling line, making an overview of its structure and then I will present the continuous improvement projects that I carried out during these months to support its development. The final aim of this study is to offer an insight into a practical application of WCM in a structured company like Birra Peroni, and how those theorical frameworks can drive to tangible improvements and results.
