In a time when the connection between people appears increasingly fragile and fragmented, this thesis explores the transformative potential of empathy, care, and solidarity as pillars of an education oriented towards the future. Starting from a historical and conceptual framework of the concept of empathy, the work develops as a journey that traverses the possibility of "putting oneself in someone else's shoes," up to questioning the limits and ambiguities of shared feelings. In a society where empathy sometimes risks not being enough, care and compassion emerge as deep and necessary educational responses. The thesis culminates in the proposal of a pedagogy of empathy, which aims to cultivate solidarity through concrete and daily educational experiences capable of generating small gestures of "micro-hope." The goal is to offer a pedagogical model that not only informs but forms aware, sensitive, and ready individuals to inhabit the world with responsibility and authentic presence.

Abstract
In a time when the connection between people appears increasingly fragile and fragmented, this thesis explores the transformative potential of empathy, care, and solidarity as pillars of an education oriented towards the future. Starting from a historical and conceptual framework of the concept of empathy, the work develops as a journey that traverses the possibility of "putting oneself in someone else's shoes," up to questioning the limits and ambiguities of shared feelings. In a society where empathy sometimes risks not being enough, care and compassion emerge as deep and necessary educational responses. The thesis culminates in the proposal of a pedagogy of empathy, which aims to cultivate solidarity through concrete and daily educational experiences capable of generating small gestures of "micro-hope." The goal is to offer a pedagogical model that not only informs but forms aware, sensitive, and ready individuals to inhabit the world with responsibility and authentic presence.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
