The study treats the painting of Andrea Pastò, a Venetian artist active in the second half of the 18th century who focused mainly on genre painting, portraying the Venetian aristocracy with whom he had relations, in particular the Widmann family. The first part will focus on the analysis of the artist and his works, and will continue with the study of the villa of the family mentioned, leading to the second part that will analyse the life of Venetian aristocrats in the context of the villa in the 18th century.

La tesi tratta della pittura di Andrea Pastò, artista veneto attivo nella seconda metà del Settecento, che si concentrò principalmente sulla pittura di genere, rappresentando la nobiltà veneta con cui ebbe rapporti, in particolare la famiglia Widmann. La prima parte verterà appunto sull'analisi dell'artista e delle sue opere, per poi proseguire con lo studio della villa della famiglia menzionata per arrivare alla seconda parte che analizzerà la vita dei nobili veneziani nel contesto della villa nel Settecento.
