Gesti di violenza contro le Amazzoni nella ceramica attica. Uno studio iconografico.

This thesis analyses the gestures of violence that the Greeks did against the Amazons. It analyses the images around this theme, that are present in Attic Ceramics between V and VI century BC, it organize a study about the significance of the single gesture, about the ceramic's function with the image and the evolution in time of Amazon figure.

Questa tesi analizza i gesti di violenza che i Greci compivano contro le Amazzoni. Analizzando le raffigurazioni riguardo questo tema, presenti nella ceramica attica di V e VI secolo a.C. si organizza uno studio sul significato del singolo gesto, sulla funzione del vaso con la rappresentazione e l'evoluzione nel tempo della figura dell'Amazzone.
