This dissertation presents a detailed analysis of the significant urban transformation of Dublin's Docklands in recent decades. Once a key port and industrial hub, the area has undergone a process of urban regeneration since the end of the 20th century, evolving into one of the most popular and vibrant districts of the Irish capital. The paper begins with an introductory chapter that explores the history of Dublin and, in particular, its transition from an industrial to a post-industrial city, focusing on phenomena such as urban regeneration, city branding through culture and gentrification. The central chapter provides an in-depth analysis of the Docklands area, which has been modernised through the implementation of various Master Plans. Today, the area hosts famous multinational headquarters, modern residential buildings, and prominent tourist attractions. The final chapter highlights the most important places of interest from commercial, cultural, architectural and recreational perspectives within Docklands, all of which help enhance the value and appeal of Dublin.
