Taylor Swift e The Eras Tour: geografie affettive e performance globale nella cultura pop

This thesis explores the relationship between space, emotion, and storytelling in pop culture through the case of Taylor Swift and her The Eras Tour. Using the tools of humanistic geography, it investigates the connections between places and human experience, and how memory, identity, and emotional meaning play a fundamental role both in song lyrics and in live performances. Particular attention is given to the lyrics of two specific songs and to the mobility of fans during the tour, interpreting stadiums as “temporary places of feeling”.

Questa tesi analizza il rapporto tra spazio, emozione e narrazione nella cultura pop attraverso il caso di Taylor Swift e il suo The Eras Tour. Utilizzando gli strumenti della geografia umanistica si indagano le relazioni tra luoghi ed esseri umani, e come la memoria, l'identità e il significato affettivo giochino un ruolo fondamentale sia nei testi delle canzoni che nelle performance live. Particolare attenzione è data ai testi di due canzoni specifiche e alla mobilità dei fan durante il tour, interpretando gli stadi come "luoghi temporanei del sentimento".
