This thesis aims to understand the steps taken in the public sector to ensure a modernization of its services aligned with today’s needs. During the last decades, in fact, the Public Administration has had to innovate and change to keep up with the times and the continuous changes brought by society and technology. It was therefore necessary to introduce digital tools that would simplify the administrative activity for both employees and citizens, in order to ensure full access in a practical and fast way. With their introduction, there have been both advantages, such as greater citizen involvement, and disadvantages, such as cyber security risks. For this reason, the administration must try to keep itself constantly updated and use all its special structures to perform at its best, focusing on continuous training and looking to the future to ensure a safe and sustainable process.
Questa tesi si pone l’obiettivo di comprendere i passi fatti nel settore pubblico per garantire una modernizzazione dei suoi servizi allineata alle esigenze odierne. Nel corso degli ultimi decenni infatti la Pubblica Amministrazione si è dovuta innovare e modificare per stare al passo coi tempi ed i continui cambiamenti portati dalla società e dalla tecnologia. È stata dunque necessaria l’introduzione di strumenti digitali che permettessero di semplificare l’attività amministrativa sia per i dipendenti che per i cittadini, col fine di garantire un pieno accesso in modo pratico e veloce. Con la loro introduzione ne sono derivati sia vantaggi, come un maggiore coinvolgimento dei cittadini, che svantaggi, come i rischi legati alla sicurezza informatica. Per questo l’amministrazione deve cercare di mantenersi costantemente aggiornata e impiegare tutte le sue strutture apposite per rendere al meglio, puntando su una continua formazione e guardando al futuro per garantire un processo sicuro e sostenibile.
