This thesis aims to critically analyze the phenomenon of human enhancement, with a focus on its ethical and philosophical implications. In particular, it will seek to explore the boundary between therapy and empowerment, evaluating the different theoretical positions and the challenges they pose in terms of justice, autonomy and human dignity.

Questa tesi si propone di analizzare criticamente il fenomeno dell’human enhancement, con un focus sulle sue implicazioni etiche e filosofiche. In particolare, si cercherà di esplorare il confine tra terapia e potenziamento, valutando le diverse posizioni teoriche e le sfide che esse pongono in termini di giustizia, autonomia e dignità umana.
