Il fenomeno dei Brainrot italiani: un'analisi semiotica

The aim of this thesis is to identify whether there may be any meanings within Italian Brainrot, considered "brain rot" and apparently meaningless. Therefore, we will try to understand whether these possible meanings, if present, recall other known elements. To do this, specific semiotic squares based on Greimas's theories were created and analyzed.

Lo scopo di questa tesi è quello di individuare se possono esserci dei significati all’interno dei Brainrot italiani, considerati come “marciume celebrale” e apparentemente senza alcun senso. Pertanto si cercherà di capire se questi possibili significati, se presenti, richiamano altri elementi conosciuti. Per fare ciò si sono creati e analizzati degli appositi quadrati semiotici basati sulle teorie di Greimas
