The aim of the following paper is to investigate whether children with RPE65 follow atypical developmental trajectories in terms of achieving socio-affective skills. Therefore, a first chapter will be dedicated to retinal dystrophy caused by the RPE65 gene. The second chapter will define what is meant by socio-affective skills. While the third chapter will deal with the concept of atypical development with particular reference to the development of visual functions and socio-affective skills. If there is an adequate sample, it would be interesting to see, perhaps using the paradigm of joint attention, whether or not there are differences between control subjects and children affected by this pathology.
L'obiettivo del seguente elaborato è quello di indagare se bambini con RPE65 seguano delle traiettorie evolutive atipiche per quanto riguarda il raggiungimento delle competenze socio-affettive. Pertanto verrà dedicato un primo capitolo alla distrofia retinica causata dal gene RPE65. Il secondo capitolo si occuperà di definire che cosa si intende per competenze socio-affettive. Mentre il terzo capitolo tratterà del concetto di sviluppo atipico con particolare riferimento allo sviluppo delle funzioni visive e delle competenze socio-affettive. Se ci sarà un campione adeguato, sarebbe interessante vedere, magari utilizzando il paradigma della joint attention, se ci siano o meno delle differenze tra soggetti di controllo e bambini affetti da questa patologia.
