This paper aims to analyze the constructs of technostress, social support, burnout, and the levels of certain stress-related biomarkers in a sample of workers from Italian organizations. The theoretical models underpinning the research are the JD-R model by Bakker and Demerouti, which explores the health impairment process, and the Allostatic Load model for studying the psychophysiology of stress. The first part of the research focuses on an in-depth review of the literature concerning the constructs of interest, followed by an analysis of the relationships among them. The final chapter presents a longitudinal and multi-method investigation, ultimately proposing practical implications and preventive interventions.
L'ultimo capitolo presenta l'indagine longitudinale e multi-metodo, proponendo infine risvolti applicativi e interventi utili in ottica preventiva.

Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the constructs of technostress, social support, burnout, and the levels of certain stress-related biomarkers in a sample of workers from Italian organizations. The theoretical models underpinning the research are the JD-R model by Bakker and Demerouti, which explores the health impairment process, and the Allostatic Load model for studying the psychophysiology of stress. The first part of the research focuses on an in-depth review of the literature concerning the constructs of interest, followed by an analysis of the relationships among them. The final chapter presents a longitudinal and multi-method investigation, ultimately proposing practical implications and preventive interventions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
