Abstract Population aging and the increase in chronic conditions have made home care a central model in healthcare systems, assigning a crucial role to family caregivers. However, their commitment often entails a high psychological, physical, and social burden. This thesis presents a literature review aimed at investigating the role of the community nurse in supporting caregivers, with particular attention to the types of interventions, the reported outcomes, and the challenges that emerged.
