This thesis analyzes the rehabilitative impact of the meaningful activities approach integrated with standard rehabilitation. Meaningful activities related to professional identity can become a key point to motivate the patient during the rehabilitation process, improving their outcomes. The goal is to create an informational brochure concerning the new approach to be given to the patient and caregivers at the time of discharge, a mini-guide that can be consulted at any time to increase the individual's autonomy and quality of life, preventing deterioration and relapse. Through a case study conducted in 2023 in the neurorehabilitation unit of the San Camillo Hospital on the Lido of Venice, the meaningful activities approach was applied to a former nurse after a major stroke. A significant correlation was highlighted between the performance of meaningful activities and the results of neuropsychological tests, as well as the improvements achieved by the patient. An informational brochure was therefore created to provide additional support to patients and caregivers, enabling them to continue this type of approach at home after discharge.

Abstract
This thesis analyzes the rehabilitative impact of the meaningful activities approach integrated with standard rehabilitation. Meaningful activities related to professional identity can become a key point to motivate the patient during the rehabilitation process, improving their outcomes.
