Nursing care increasingly faces the need to ensure integrated, person-centered care that can respond to the complex needs of patients. In this context, the Fundamentals of Care (FoC) represent a theoretical and practical framework that guides nursing practice, fostering a holistic approach which integrates the physical, psychological, and relational dimensions of care. This thesis, through a literature review, explores the role of the Fundamentals of Care as a key element in promoting integrated care. Following a theoretical overview of care models and the concept of integration, the study analyzes the main evidence available in the literature concerning the application of FoC in different healthcare settings. The analysis highlights strengths, challenges, and perspectives for the development of the model, emphasizing the importance of care that, through the Fundamentals of Care, can improve quality of services and reinforce patient-centeredness.

Abstract
The analysis highlights strengths, challenges, and perspectives for the development of the model, emphasizing the importance of care that, through the Fundamentals of Care, can improve quality of services and reinforce patient-centeredness.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
