psychoacoustics-web is a free online platform developed to perform complex psychoacoustic tests. Although functional and operational, the previous software development left some gaps in terms of stability and features, such as a non-working referral link and data download functions. This thesis illustrates the refactoring process undertaken together with Dr. Grassi to refine and expand the toolbox, focusing on the issues encountered and the corresponding solutions applied. It will then outline the features introduced through this new round of development to enhance usability, and finally propose a personal solution to update the software architecture.
Psychoacoustics-web è una piattaforma gratuita online sviluppata per effettuare complessi test psicoacustici. Sebbene funzionate e operativa, il precedente sviluppo software ha lasciato alcune lacune in termini di stabilità e funzionalità, come un referral link e una funzione download dati non funzionante. Questa tesi illustra il processo di refactoring intrapreso assieme al Dott. Grassi per rifinire e ampliare la toolbox, soffermandosi sulle criticità emerse e le relative soluzioni applicate. Verranno poi elencate le funzionalità che questo ulteriore round di sviluppo ha saputo apportare per raffinarne l'utilizzo e infine proposta una soluzione personale per aggiornare l'architettura del software.
