Vernacular architecture represents a type of construction that develops spontaneously within a territory, reflecting the connection between the characteristics of the environment and the built form. The design of such historic buildings is based on an empirical discipline that provides the foundation for understanding traditional solutions and modern sustainable construction practices. This thesis proposes to analyze the current state of a vernacular rural building located in the northwestern Euganean area, in the Villa hamlet of the municipality of Teolo, with the aim of documenting its geometric features and constructional characteristics, linked to the building typology of the milling structure. The study carried out with bibliographic and digital sources investigates the similar artifacts’ typology. The geometric survey, conducted by traditional surveying methodologies, allows for the digital reproduction of the building's dimensional and distribution characteristics. The on-site make it possible to identify typological characteristics related to materials and structure, and to describe its current state, documented by a collection of photographic material. Furthermore, this analysis provides technical resources that can be used for future interventions of architectural restoration.

Abstract
Furthermore, this analysis provides technical resources that can be used for future interventions of architectural restoration.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
