This work explores the main characteristics of hydrogen, focusing on the differences between carbon- and zero-emission technologies. After analyzing production and storage methods, several applications are examined, such as its use in combustion engines and fuel cells. The aim is to provide an overview of hydrogen's potential for the energy transition, highlighting its advantages, critical issues, and future prospects.
Questo lavoro approfondisce le principali caratteristiche dell’idrogeno, concentrandosi sulle differenze le tecniche con emissioni di anidride carbonica e quelle a zero emissioni. Dopo un’analisi dei metodi di produzione e sui metodi di stoccaggio stoccaggio, vengono esaminate alcune applicazioni, come l’impiego in motori a combustione e in celle a combustibile. L’obiettivo è fornire un quadro delle potenzialità dell’idrogeno per una transizione energetica, evidenziandone vantaggi, criticità e prospettive future.
