The objective of this study was the kinematic analysis of a retractable aircraft landing gear based on the mechanism described in patent US 11,008,091 B2. The system’s kinematics were analyzed using Matlab, and the results were compared with data obtained from the software Working Model 2D. A static analysis of the mechanism was also carried out under specific load conditions representative of the landing phase. Finally, a complete motion simulation was performed in order to accurately reproduce the kinematic behavior of the system.

Abstract
The objective of this study was the kinematic analysis of a retractable aircraft landing gear based on the mechanism described in patent US 11,008,091 B2. The system’s kinematics were analyzed using Matlab, and the results were compared with data obtained from the software Working Model 2D. A static analysis of the mechanism was also carried out under specific load conditions representative of the landing phase. Finally, a complete motion simulation was performed in order to accurately reproduce the kinematic behavior of the system.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
