Many believe that the primary task of schools is learning. However, the focus on education, understood as personal care, is underestimated. Even more so, the idea that well-being within schools should concern everyone is minimized: students, teachers, and administrative staff. This paper aims to analyze the role of the school principal in promoting organizational well-being in their capacity as manager and leader. The school principal is a central figure in school management. This role has undergone a significant transformation over time, from administrative manager to leader with decision-making autonomy. The school principal is responsible for establishing shared leadership. Their primary mission is to guide a complex school community by encouraging active participation among students, teachers, administrative staff, families, and external organizations.
