The thesis stems from my internship experience at TR2 SRLS, an innovative SME specializing in the use of Artificial Intelligence for quality control. My role within the company involved supporting the Senior Grant Writer to learn the techniques of drafting project proposals while providing a statistical perspective on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be achieved and their possible adjustments before integration. I also had opportunities to assist in Project Management activities. From these experiences, and from my personal interest in KPIs as tools to make even the most qualitative objectives more objective and verifiable, the thesis takes its form and purpose, as suggested by its title: “From Data to Decision-Making: The Value of Statistics in Building Key Performance Indicators for Projects”. After presenting the company and describing the roles of the Grant Writer and Project Manager, the thesis introduces a six-phase framework designed to identify the most effective KPIs to include in project proposals. This process starts from data collection and leads to quantifying the innovative potential that each individual project can bring to the company.

Abstract
This process starts from data collection and leads to quantifying the innovative potential that each individual project can bring to the company.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
