In recent years, phenomena such as climate change have become more and more prominent. Campaigns introduced by governments, environmental NGOs, private sector corporations following CSR principles and educational institutions have played a crucial role in raising environmental awareness and promoting collective responsibility. The European Union has been extremely active in the promotion of legislations aimed at enforcing sustainability standards for companies. A growing body of regulatory frameworks has been introduced to ensure that companies operating within the EU align their practices with long-term environmental goals. Among these, the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), seeks to prevent the importation and sale of products linked to deforestation and forest degradation, in order to enable more transparent and responsible global supply chains In this evolving context, it is crucial for every entity across society, from public institutions to private corporations, to act responsibly and take all possible measures to ensure compliance with such legislations. In this sense, the tire industry represents a particularly sensitive case, as its main raw material, natural rubber, is directly sourced from ecosystems at risk of deforestation. This study demonstrates how digital solutions can play a role in helping companies anticipate and adapt to new environmental regulations.

Abstract
This study demonstrates how digital solutions can play a role in helping companies anticipate and adapt to new environmental regulations.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
