This thesis investigates the educational benefits derived from the integration of art education and educational horticulture. The initiative, carried out in a fourth-grade primary school class, aims to combine the creative dimension of art with the sensory and reflective experience of gardening, fostering in children a meaningful connection with nature and a conscious approach to their own creative process. Employing both qualitative and quantitative research methods, this study examines the educational outcomes of the project, assessing how the skills developed in cultivation and artistic experimentation can be effectively integrated into a unified pedagogical framework. The research explores the emotions, reactions, and behaviours of the engaged pupils, with particular attention to the development of curiosity and the strengthening of the feeling of biophilia.
