The thesis analyzes the head-to-hood impact in sports cars with the aim of predicting the Head Injury Criterion (HIC). An experimental database was created through a parameterization of the problem, and subsequently a comparison was carried out between two software tools: Odyssee A-Eye and Hyperstudy. On this basis, predictive Machine Learning models were developed in order to compare their performance and predictive capabilities.
La tesi analizza l’impatto testa-cofano nelle vetture sportive con l’obiettivo di prevedere l’Head Injury Criterion (HIC). È stato creato un database sperimentale mediante una parametrizzazione del problema, successivamente si è eseguito un confronto tra due software: Odyssee A-Eye e Hyperstudy. Su tali basi sono stati sviluppati modelli predittivi di Machine Learning, al fine di confrontarne prestazioni e capacità di previsione.
