Il primato dell'uomo e l'incoscienza artificiale

Our humanity feels threatened by new technologies, perceiving aggression from the new “intelligence,” artificial intelligence, an element desired and created by the genius of that same humanity that now perceives it as external, sometimes alien. Yet, the main characteristic of this new intelligence is its absolute unawareness, and it is instead “humanity” that is unable, perhaps unwilling, to assume responsibility for a centrality that has always belonged to it. Forever.

La nostra umanità si sente minacciata dalle nuove tecnologie, percepisce una aggressione dalla nuova “intelligenza”, quella artificiale, un elemento voluto e creato dal genio di quella stessa umanità che ora lo percepisce come esterno, a volte estraneo. Eppure, quella nuova intelligenza ha come principale caratteristica la sua assoluta inconsapevolezza ed è invece quella “umanità” che non riesce, non sa, non sa assumersi forse la responsabilità, di una centralità che le appartiene da sempre. Per sempre.
