DAL SILENZIO DEL CORPO ALLA PAROLA DELLA COSCIENZA: NIETZSCHE E LA GENEALOGIA DEL SÉ

This work explores Nietzsche’s conception of consciousness, taking as its starting point his critique of the metaphysical subject, understood not as a foundation, but as a historical and perspectival construct. After tracing its genealogy, the analysis focuses on the role of the body and instincts, which Nietzsche recognizes as the primary core of human experience. Subsequently, the linguistic/signifying dimension of consciousness is addressed—understood as a secondary and derivative form which, while not original in nature, allows human beings to shape themselves and create meaning. The discussion unfolds through the examination of various works by Nietzsche, with particular attention given to three specific aphorisms, taken as interpretative centers. The goal is to show consciousness on the one hand as a linguistic construct and an opportunity for the creation of meaning and identity, and on the other as a reality that should not obscure our bodily and instinctual dimension, with its immediacy and irreducibly plural nature.

Il presente lavoro indaga la concezione della coscienza in Nietzsche, assumendo come punto di partenza la critica al soggetto metafisico, inteso non come fondamento, ma come costruzione storica e prospettica. Dopo averne messo in luce la genealogia, l’analisi si concentra sul ruolo del corpo e degli istinti, riconosciuti da Nietzsche come nucleo primario dell’esperienza umana. In seguito, viene affrontata la dimensione linguistico\segnica della coscienza, intesa come forma secondaria e derivata che, pur non avendo carattere originario, consente all’uomo di dare forma a sé stesso e di creare significati. Il percorso si sviluppa attraverso l’utilizzo di diverse opere di Nietzsche, ponendo particolare attenzione a tre aforismi specifici assunti come centri interpretativi. L’obiettivo è mostrare la coscienza da un lato come costrutto linguistico e come occasione di creazione di senso e identità, dall’altro come realtà che non deve oscurare la nostra dimensione corporea e istintuale, nella sua immediatezza e nella sua dimensione irriducibilmente plurale.
