The thesis investigates male violence against women as a complex and structural phenomenon, deeply rooted in gender inequalities and cultural norms that legitimize its existence. Starting from the definition of gender as a social construct, the analysis explores the multiple forms of violence, from physical to psychological, highlighting feminist and intersectional approaches as essential interpretative tools. The study further delves into the international and national regulatory frameworks that frame gender-based violence as a violation of human rights and a persistent social issue. The third chapter focuses on the functioning of the anti-violence network, composed of Anti-Violence Centers (CAV), Shelters (CR), and territorial services, highlighting critical issues, potential, and integration with other social assistance, healthcare, and institutional services. Finally, the study specifically concentrates on the province of Brescia, examining one of the seven territorial networks present in the area. Through a qualitative investigation, the operational methods of the local anti-violence network are highlighted, describing the adopted practices and its functioning. The testimonies of the involved professionals allow for the identification of strengths, critical issues, and areas for improvement of the entire network system.

Abstract
The testimonies of the involved professionals allow for the identification of strengths, critical issues, and areas for improvement of the entire network system.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
