Il ramo spezzato: Villari e Michelstaedter, il professore e l'allievo.

This text aims to give voice to a comparison between Pasquale Villari and Carlo Raimondo Michelstädter, who were professor and student, respectively, at the University of Advanced Studies in Florence in the early 1900s. Here, beginning with a profile of the two authors, I wish to highlight their points of contact and differences, also making reference to the two critiques that appear very similar. Furthermore, by outlining their fields of study, I will show how they can be approached through the arguments reviewed in both authors.

Il testo vuole dare voce ad una comparazione fra Pasquale Villari e Carlo Raimondo Michelstädter, i quali furono rispettivamente professore ed alunno presso l'Università degli Studi Superiori di Firenze nei primi del novecento. Qui, partendo con il profilare i due autori desidero evidenziarne i punti di contatto e differenze, facendo riferimento anche alle due critiche che paiono molto simili. Inoltre, delineandone i campi di studio evidenzierò come sia accostabili alle argomentazioni riviste in tutti e due gli autori.
