Brescia cristiana nel IV secolo: un'analisi storica attraverso le opere di Filastrio e Gaudenzio

In this thesis we will try to understand the role of the city of Brescia within the Christian reality during the 4th century AD, increasingly dominant in Italy and within the borders of the Roman Empire. In particular, we will look more carefully at the role of two important bishops of the Lombard city: San Filastrio and San Gaudenzio

In questa tesi si cercherà di comprendere il ruolo della città bresciana all'interno della realtà cristiana nel corso del IV secolo d.C. sempre più dominante in Italia e nei confini dell'Impero Romano. In particolare, si guarderà con maggiore attenzione al ruolo di due importanti vescovi della città lombarda: San Filastrio e San Gaudenzio
