This report aims to present how educators working within a Local Authority promote the psycho-socio-economic self-determination of those who turn to them for support to counter their condition of economic poverty. Social workers, who work in the Social Services area of a municipality, have daily contact with people who manifest economic hardship. It will be analyzed how the this is often a container for several different fragilities at the social and cultural level, which highlight a long list of unspoken needs that, in particular the educators of the Local Authority, must take into account in order to activate appropriate and effective educational actions that are not merely welfarist in nature. It will be critically analyzed the working approaches of educators and how much these contribute to consolidating a relationship of dependence between Citizen and Service. Then, it will be considered the personal and collective resources that individuals can access, and how the figure of the socio-pedagogical professional educator can activate paths of self-awareness and empowerment in his or her daily practice of working in direct contact among people and in the territory.

Abstract
Then, it will be considered the personal and collective resources that individuals can access, and how the figure of the socio-pedagogical professional educator can activate paths of self-awareness and empowerment in his or her daily practice of working in direct contact among people and in the territory.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
