This thesis describes the design and development of Admin Buddy, an artificial intelligence–based virtual assistant integrated into the ExerPlaza e-learning platform. The objective of Admin Buddy is to provide institutional administrators with an aggregated and detailed overview of course progress, enabling the monitoring of student advancement, performance analysis, and the extraction of statistics to support decision-making processes. The thesis analyzes the system architecture, the adaptation of the existing conversational interface, and the implementation of functionalities specifically designed for the administrative role.
La presente tesi descrive la progettazione e lo sviluppo di Admin Buddy, un assistente virtuale basato su intelligenza artificiale integrato nella piattaforma di e-learning ExerPlaza. L’obiettivo di Admin Buddy è fornire agli amministratori degli istituti una visione aggregata e dettagliata dell’andamento dei corsi, consentendo il monitoraggio del progresso degli studenti, l’analisi delle performance e l’estrazione di statistiche utili al supporto decisionale. La tesi analizza l’architettura del sistema, l’adattamento dell’interfaccia conversazionale esistente e l’implementazione delle funzionalità specifiche per il ruolo amministrativo.
