This thesis evaluates the efficacy of an experimental formulation in the fortification of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) subjected to chemical stress resulting from fungicide application. The experimental trial was conducted in a greenhouse at LandLab Srl (Quinto Vicentino), adopting a randomized block design with six treatments: untreated control (UTC), Ortiva® (azoxystrobin-based) applied individually, the experimental formulation at two dosages (2 L/ha and 3.5 L/ha), and the respective mixtures of Ortiva® + experimental formulation. Each treatment was replicated 5 times, for a total of 90 plants. Foliar applications were carried out in two interventions one week apart, on fertigated plants. To determine the formulation's efficacy, morpho-physiological (fresh and dry biomass) and biochemical analyses (H₂O₂ quantification and Rainbow spectral analysis) were performed, with sampling conducted at 3 and 7 days after the final treatment. Data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's test. The results highlighted a positive trend for the treatment with the Ortiva® + experimental formulation mixture, which recorded the highest biomass values. From a physiological standpoint, adding the product to the fungicide modulated the oxidative response, maintaining H₂O₂ levels functional for defense signaling (priming) without compromising vegetative development. Conversely, the use of the experimental formulation alone showed marked scavenging properties, reducing the concentration of reactive oxygen species compared to the control.
