The paper analyses the evolution of the educational community from the early 20th century to the present day, comparing past and current models, with a particular focus on the role of care within the educational relationship. The aim is to investigate the transformation of the educator’s role, how paradigms have changed and, consequently, the various educational methodologies, with a focus on admission and discharge within residential educational communities. The methodology combines bibliographic research and a traineeship at “Casa Priscilla” (Padua), documenting how pedagogical intent and authentic relationships are fundamental pillars for the social rehabilitation and growth of vulnerable individuals.
L’elaborato analizza l’evoluzione della comunità educativa dall'inizio del Novecento a oggi, confrontando i modelli del passato e quelli attuali, con una particolare attenzione alla dimensione della cura all'interno della relazione educativa. L’obiettivo è indagare la trasformazione del ruolo dell'educatore, come sono cambiati i paradigmi e, di conseguenza, le varie metodologie educative, con un focus su accoglienza e dimissioni all'interno delle comunità educative residenziali. La metodologia integra ricerca bibliografica e tirocinio presso "Casa Priscilla" (Padova), documentando come l'intenzionalità pedagogica e la relazione autentica siano pilastri fondamentali per il riscatto sociale e la crescita dei soggetti fragili.
