This thesis analyzes the dramatic reality of violated childhood in armed conflicts, exploring the intersections between geopolitical dynamics, human rights violations, and severe consequences on children’s development. The work reconstructs the current framework of armed conflicts, retracing the most recent trends and the dynamics of children’s involvement. Secondly, the research focuses on the devastating effects of war on children’s development, examining the consequences on psychological well-being, as well as educational, psychosocial and physical growth. Finally, the paper proposes educational and therapeutic interventions, including pedagogical approaches and art therapy, aimed at promoting resilience, healing and a culture of peace, emphasizing the urgency of immediate action to protect children in conflict contexts.
La presente tesi analizza la drammatica realtà dell'infanzia violata nei conflitti armati, esplorando le intersezioni tra dinamiche geopolitiche, violazioni dei diritti umani e gravi conseguenze sullo sviluppo dei minori. Il lavoro ricostruisce il quadro attuale dei conflitti armati, ripercorrendo le tendenze più recenti e le dinamiche di coinvolgimento dei minori. In secondo luogo, la ricerca si concentra sugli effetti devastanti della guerra sullo sviluppo dei bambini. Vengono analizzate le conseguenze sul benessere psicologico, sullo sviluppo educativo, psicosociale e fisico. Infine, l’elaborato propone interventi educativi e terapeutici, inclusi approcci pedagogici e arteterapie, finalizzati a promuovere resilienza, guarigione e cultura della pace, sottolineando l’urgenza di azioni immediate per proteggere i bambini nei contesti di conflitto.
