This paper, addresses the internship experience, exploring the role of the educator and the relational dimension starting from a L2 Italian language teaching project aimed at adult migrants included into reception and integration programs. After an initial contextualization of the training experience and the organization of reception services, the internship experience carried out at the Orizzonti Cooperative in Padua is analyzed. The experience has allowed us to observe differences in the relational dynamics, participation and motivation to learn. The teaching classes were divided into two groups based on gender within which they showed different ages, levels of education, and cultural backgrounds. These analyses highlight how language teaching is not merely a transmission of content, but is structured as an experience where having an educational relation, listening and providing help and care, play a central role.
Questo elaborato, che affronta l’esperienza di tirocinio, approfondisce il ruolo dell’educatore e la dimensione relazionale a partire da un progetto di insegnamento della lingua italiana L2 rivolto a persone migranti adulte inserite in percorsi di accoglienza e integrazione. Dopo una prima contestualizzazione dell’esperienza formativa e dell’organizzazione dei servizi di accoglienza, si analizza l’esperienza di tirocinio svolto presso la Cooperativa Orizzonti di Padova. L’esperienza ha permesso di osservare differenze nelle dinamiche relazionali, nella partecipazione e nella motivazione all’apprendimento di due gruppi distinti, uno femminile ed uno maschile, al cui interno di mostravano età, livello di scolarizzazione e background culturale differenti. Da queste analisi si evidenzia come l’insegnamento linguistico non sia una mera trasmissione di contenuti, ma si strutturi come esperienza in cui la relazione educativa, l’ascolto e l’accompagnamento assumono un ruolo centrale.
