This thesis explores the emotional well-being of hospitalized children aged 0 to 3, with particular attention to the role of positive emotions in the care process. Hospitalization in early childhood can generate anxiety, fear, and regression, making the presence of the family, educational continuity, and the support of significant adults essential. Through the analysis of the literature and selected pediatric good practices, the study highlights how play, storytelling, and educational activities can foster emotional regulation, resilience, and a sense of safety. The thesis emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach that combines healthcare and educational support, aiming to humanize the hospital experience and promote the child’s overall development.
