This thesis examines the developmental and identity-related challenges experienced by adolescents with a migrant background, with particular attention to the sense of loss and discontinuity that is often associated with the migratory experience. The main objective is to analyze the potential of self-narration as a tool for resilience and self-construction, with a focus on the Mentor-UP program, a mentoring intervention designed for migrant youth. Through a review of the scientific literature, the study explores three main areas: the specific features of adolescent development in migratory contexts, theoretical models related to loss and self-construction through narrative, and the effectiveness of educational interventions based on mentoring. The Mentor-UP program is examined as a relational and narrative tool capable of supporting processes of adaptation and integration. The analysis shows that self-narration can facilitate the understanding and reworking of traumatic or fragmented experiences, contributing to greater identity cohesion. Moreover, mentoring emerges as an educational strategy that offers emotional containment and developmental support, especially when embedded in sensitive and inclusive relational contexts. The findings highlight the importance of educational approaches that enhance the narrative and relational resources of adolescents with a migrant background, fostering growth processes sustained by meaningful and supportive relationships.

Abstract
The findings highlight the importance of educational approaches that enhance the narrative and relational resources of adolescents with a migrant background, fostering growth processes sustained by meaningful and supportive relationships.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
