Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric brain tumors have led to a significant increase in survival, bringing greater attention to survivors' quality of life. Survivors of pediatric brain tumors are therefore at high risk of developing late effects that may compromise physical, neurocognitive, school-related, and psychosocial functioning, with significant repercussions on daily life and perceived well-being. This thesis aims to analyze health-related quality of life in survivors of pediatric brain tumors, taking into account the main affected domains, the available assessment tools, and support strategies. After examining the main difficulties associated with long-term survivorship, the assessment of quality of life through multidimensional instruments is explored. Particular attention is given to the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory and to the integration of this assessment with neurocognitive and psychosocial evaluations. Finally, the main intervention strategies addressing neurocognitive, educational, psychosocial, physical, and family-related needs are discussed, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary and personalized care to promote the well-being of this population.
Particolare attenzione è rivolta al Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory e all'integrazione della valutazione con approfondimenti neurocognitivi e psicosociali.

Abstract
Finally, the main intervention strategies addressing neurocognitive, educational, psychosocial, physical, and family-related needs are discussed, highlighting the need for interdisciplinary and personalized care to promote the well-being of this population.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
