This paper aims to analyze two very recent research works. These works seek to demonstrate the effectiveness of two psychotherapeutic treatments in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The two treatments are: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and a type of short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy. Additionally, there is a brief chapter on the theoretical and historical conceptualization of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Questo elaborato ha come scopo quello di analizzare due lavori di ricerca molto recenti. Questi lavori mirano a comprovare l'efficacia di due trattamenti psicoterapeutici nella cura del Disturbo Ossessivo Compulsivo. I due trattamenti sono: l'Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) e un tipo di psicoterapia psicodinamica a breve termine. Inoltre, è presente un breve capitolo sulla concettualizzazione teorica e storica del Disturbo Ossessivo Compulsivo.
