This paper describes a study aimed at exploring the implicit effects of day-colour synaesthesia in the native language and any differences in the second language, using a synaesthetic Stroop task as a paradigm. The research is part of a project initiated in 2025; throughout the text, reference will be made several times to this preliminary study, for whose further details reference is made to the work of F. Sammartano and M. Meneghello. The first part of the paper provides a theoretical introduction to synaesthesia, with the aim of making the study understandable to all readers. This is followed by a description of the research objectives and hypotheses. The second chapter presents the adopted methodology, which includes the selection of participants, the instruments used, the creation and administration of the stimuli, as well as the management of any atypical situations. The third and final chapter reports the results, followed by an analysis and a comparison with those obtained in the 2025 study. In particular, the data relating to the phenomenology and characteristics of synaesthesia manifestation are analysed, obtained through the participants' behavioural responses. Finally, the results, the limitations of the study and possible future developments are discussed.
Vengono infine discussi i risultati, i limiti dello studio e i possibili sviluppi futuri.
