Recent technological developments have brought an increase in computerized assessment and testing in many areas of scientific research and healthcare, and neuropsychology is no exception. Through the rise in computerized assessments and digital tests, remote testing is made possible for diverse populations that otherwise have little to no access to tests that monitor their cognitive functioning. Auto-GEMS is a self-administered web-based cognitive screening test that gives the possibility to quickly measure an individual's cognitive state along with their cognitive reserve, initially normed for the Italian population only. Auto-GEMS has been translated to several languages and many of them are currently in the phase of validation. In this study on the recently translated Turkish version of Auto-GEMS, data on a sample of 29 participants were collected with the aim of evaluating its psychometric properties. The first chapter introduces the concept of computerized assessment and digital testing in neuropsychology, explains the psychometric properties all online cognitive tests are expected to have, and names the objectives of the study. The second chapter demonstrates the methods and materials used in the study, the procedure and the statistical analyses. The third chapter presents the results obtained from the analyses, and the fourth chapter summarizes and discusses the findings by addressing limitations and suggestions for future research.
