Testing the quality of a tensor network simulation of a quantum circuit is a challenging problem in general. That is particularly true if the ideal output of the quantum circuit is unknown. The goal of the project is to implement numerically a new benchmarking method applicable to the simulation of any quantum circuit. The benchmarking involves simulating a family of circuits that are variations of the initial one and test the value of local expectation values.

Abstract
Testing the quality of a tensor network simulation of a quantum circuit is a challenging problem in general. That is particularly true if the ideal output of the quantum circuit is unknown. The goal of the project is to implement numerically a new benchmarking method applicable to the simulation of any quantum circuit. The benchmarking involves simulating a family of circuits that are variations of the initial one and test the value of local expectation values.File in questo prodotto:
