This thesis work analyzes the design and economic-welfare feasibility of a premium excellence pet-hosting business in the province of Vicenza, focusing on the central role of the Veterinary Technician as a guarantor of animal welfare and corporate governance. The objective is to demonstrate how technical competence, knowledge of health and behavioral protocols, and overcoming traditional empirical approaches are not only ethical requirements but pivotal elements for creating a professional, safe, and highly competitive service. Through the development of a Business Plan and the optimization of the structural layout, a growing market of interest is examined, and the full sustainability of the project is validated. The economic analysis estimates a favorable annual gross profit at steady-state from the first year of operation, with a positive break-even point and margin of safety. In this context, the Veterinary Technician emerges as a key figure, capable of managing critical situations and monitoring the psychophysical state of the animal deeply compared to non-specialized facilities. In conclusion, the paper highlights how the profitability and economic sustainability of the business are closely linked to the quality of care provided. A pet-hosting model based on solid technical-veterinary foundations allows for an effective response to the modern needs of owners, combining the ethics of animal welfare with efficient and professional corporate management, outlining this sector as a modern, autonomous career path with high responsibilities.
