This paper analyzes Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) in primary school, focusing on their pedagogical and educational aspects. The objective is to examine how appropriate teaching strategies and optimal emotional and relational support can promote students' academic success and psychological well-being. The first part provides a theoretical and clinical analysis of SLD, examining the evolution of Italian legislation (Law 170/2010) and the importance of the Personalized Learning Plan (PDP) and the ICF model for inclusive planning. Furthermore, the paper focuses on active classroom methodologies, such as cooperative learning and the flipped classroom, and on the effectiveness of digital compensatory tools and dispensatory measures in encouraging student autonomy. Finally, the role of the socio-pedagogical educator is emphasized, understood as a strategic mediator between school, family, and specialized services. Educational intervention is essential for supporting students' emotional and motivational development, countering frustration or school anxiety, and guiding them toward the acquisition of a metacognitive study method, known as "learning to learn." This paper emphasizes the need to transform the school environment into a flexible and barrier-free environment, capable of enhancing the learning style and unique potential of each child with SLD.
